Here at The Miracle League, we run on volunteer power. Whether it’s in the dugout, on the field, or in the stands, we need people just like you to make every game a fun experience and a cherished memory. Check out all the different ways you can get involved as a volunteer.

Online Volunteer Application

Buddies.

Buddies are the backbone of the Miracle League. We rely on you to create a positive experience and form a special bond with your buddy that will last. We’re looking for both youth (12+) and adult volunteers to stay with one buddy all year and care for their buddy from introduction to departure.
We also need “floater buddies” who are willing to fill in when a buddy can’t be there or needs additional assistance.
If you’re enthusiastic and passionate about bringing a smile to someone’s face, take to us about becoming a buddy!
Umpires.

Steeeeeerike! We need umpires to call a fair game according to The Miracle League rules and regulations.
Group volunteers.

We love to see church groups, athletic teams, corporate groups, civic groups, and school clubs join in on the fun.
Volunteering as a group builds camaraderie and a sense of community involvement. It is a lesson that cannot be taught in a classroom, practice field, or board room.
Everyone says the same thing: “We can’t wait to do this again!”
Groups should be made up of volunteers ages 12 and up. We require a commitment of at least a three-hour shift.

Announcers.

Calling all Vin Scullies! Do you have a classic announcer voice you’ve been dying to try out? Are you passionate about baseball? Then, boy do we have a gig for you!
All we need from you is to be committed to a few games every season and announce each game with enthusiasm — you are a huge part of the experience!
Coaching.

Imagine a sport where there were no angry fans, no grueling practices in the evenings, and no cut-throat play-offs. Wouldn’t you want to coach that team?
Now you can! All we need is an hour or so of your time once a week during our spring and fall seasons and an enthusiastic, compassionate spirit.
We’re looking for head and assistant coaches and managers who are willing to help with coaching duties.
You have to at least be 12 years old, available all season, and committed to arriving 30 minutes early to each game with a smile and a fist bump for each player.
Team moms.

Our team moms are the ultimate super moms! If you’re interested in doing things like assisting coaches, creating a team snack & drink schedule, and getting to the field early to greet players and families, then you might be a great fit for a team mom role.
